Bible Verse for Today – 1 Corinthians 14:14–15 (KJV)

“For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.”

💡 Lesson / Reflection

This scripture reveals the balance and beauty of spiritual communication with God.
Paul teaches that praying in tongues is a divine connection where your spirit communes directly with God, beyond human reasoning. However, there’s also a call to pray with understanding, engaging both the mind and the spirit.
True prayer involves fellowship, not just words — a harmony between what the Spirit inspires and what your mind comprehends. When you pray both ways, you activate deeper spiritual power and insight, aligning heaven and earth in your petitions.

🕊️ Praying in the Spirit builds your inner man, while praying with understanding brings clarity and manifestation.
